Flagstone/Paver Patio

We install patios using natural flagstone varieties such as bluestone, slate, or sandstone with methods suited to your project goals—dry-laid over sand & gravel, mortar-set, or bonded to a concrete base. Flagstone offers rugged beauty and slip resistance, ideal for Herndon gardens and terraces.

Choose from molded or brick pavers laid over stabilized sand beds or concrete footers. Paver patios offer design flexibility—custom patterns, textures, and color palettes—and are easy to maintain and repair.

Every patio begins with excavation, precise grading, subbase compaction, and edge restraint framing—ensuring stable, long-lasting surfaces even on Herndon’s clay soils.

Flagstone joints receive polymeric sand or mortar; pavers are compacted and sealed (optional). We also cut control joints and apply finishes for both beauty and structural performance.

Lay flagstone over sand/gravel or mortar, or place pavers with sand bedding and compaction. Install joints, apply sealant (if selected), and ensure even unit spacing.

Remove excess material, stabilize edges, and provide care guidance with a final walkthrough.
